In the Community

We agree with Maya Angelou when she said “When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.”

Over the years Fired Up! Has proudly participated in various community events which involve giving back. Here are a few things we have done:

-2011 “give a Duck” money fundraiser for the Swan Lake foundation ($500 raised)

 

-2012 “Tea Paw-tea” fundraiser for Victoria Adoptables pet rescue (~$150 raised)

-2013 “Paint a tile” fundraiser for the Cancer research institute in Victoria ($100 raised)

-2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 Donated auction items to various school and community fundraisers

-2012,2013,2014 proud Movember fundraisers (although most of us are female and can't grow mustaches, we have been known to let our leg hair grow to show solidarity)
